Motel
Koolen is situated at the centre of the Burgundian province of
Brabant along the old highroad from Nijmegen to Bois le Duc,
just outside the picturesque fortified town Grave in the small
village of Velp.
The Motel
is situated along a woodlike park surrounded by beautiful
gardens.
The region
is very appropiate for bike-tours walks or trips. Velp has an
old church dating back to the 10th century, where concerts and
exhibitions are regularly held.
The old
nun's abbey and capuchin's abbey, having and extraordinary
altar from 1645 are most interesting. Grave is a member of the
Union of Dutch fortified Towns and is your visit more than
worth while
Furthermore
Nijmegen and 's Hetogenbosch make excellent day-trips.
